Ffos Las

Ffos Las has brought top class racing back to West Wales for the first time since 1937. The setting is magnificent. It is surrounded by rolling hills and countryside with views down the Gwendraeth valley to Carmarthen Bay.

Cefn Sidan Beach & Pembrey Country Park

Cefn Sidan beach has been described as one Europe's best. This blue flag beach has at least 7 miles of golden sand edged by a belt of sand dunes. It forms part of Pembrey Country Park with its 200 hectares of grassland and forest. A variety of leisure activities include:- cycle hire, woodland trails, dry ski slope, adventure playground, pony trekking and mini golf.

Kidwelly Castle

This medieval castle is one of the most complete and best preserved in Wales . Views from the top across the Gwendraeth valley and out towards Pembrey are stunning. The town itself is equally ancient dating back to 1115AD.

National Botanical Gardens

The Botanical gardens have the worlds largest single span glasshouse home to plants from around the world, a tropical house and a beautifully restored double walled garden.

Millennium Coastal Path and Park

The Millennium coastal path is 22km pedestrian walkway and cycle way along the south coast of Carmarthenshire. The path runs through the Coastal Park offering a continuous traffic free route linking the National Wetlands, Bury Port, Millennium Quay and Discovery Centre through to Pembrey Country Park.

Pembrey Racing Circuit

The Pembrey race track was said to be Ayrton Senna’s favourite track! It is deemed to be the home of Welsh Motorsport providing racing for cars, motorcycles, karts and trucks. With a vast programme of events throughout the year this makes for an enjoyable day out.

Pembrey Park Riding Centre

The riding centre is the only one situated in Pembrey country park and offers an inclusive experience for riders of all levels. The qualified instructors up to a BHSII standard ensure that whatever level you are you can enjoy the stunning 2000 acres of woodland on the edge of the 8 mile golden sandy beach.
