The Welsh Reindeer Retreat at Ystrad Fach Farm (Little Vale Farm) is set in 15 acres of rolling countryside with private access to the river Gwendraeth Fach. A perfect rural retreat, yet only 10 minutes from the A48 and Carmarthen it's a fantastic choice for anyone seeking a holiday in Wales, we have available our spacious Barn owl cottage which sleeps a family of 6 with a large garden and quality B&B barn conversions in Carmarthen, close to Kidwelly, Pembrey or Burry Port.

Ystrad Fach Farm was originally part of a much larger estate and served as the dairy for Glanrhydw Mansion. The main farmhouse dates back about 400 years with the stone outbuildings being around 200 years old.

Barn Owl cottage was converted in the 1980’s by the previous owners. It was a barn which served as a cart house. The Old Dairy (reception) was a former nursing area for the dairy cows.

Daisy and Buttercup, the new conversions, were all former milking parlours and part of the dairy farm. Both are separate from the main farmhouse giving complete privacy for guests to come and go as they please and each room has its own private entrance.

Centrally located for exploring Carmarthenshire with its ancient market towns, beautiful national trust gardens, the National Botanic Garden of Wales historic castles and blue flag beaches. The Brecon Beacons, The Gower, Ffos Las racecourse and Pembrey motor racing circuit are all within easy reach.
